How is it December 8th already?A quick recap of 2009 and a sneak peek at our 2010 plans
![]() It's been hectic here at NaturalHealthcare.ca. I feel like every post and/or newsletter I have written in the past six months have started with those words, but it's true! It's been an amazing year of growth for us - we're just getting settled into our new space (most of the furniture arrives tomorrow; meeting tables and other stuff to follow). Our new space is 3,000 square feet, which allows us to resume holding the practitioner networking events, only this time from the comfort of our home base. Expect an open house in late January followed by a networking night in February. We have to have our location people-ready by December 19th when we are hosting Toronto Sprout's event featuring Raw Food Guru David Wolfe. He'll be talking about superfoods, cacao, and much more - in a six hour evening featuring networking, community building, tastings, raw foods marketplace, and even dancing! Tickets are $45 in advance and include samples - get yours now at www.TorontoSprouts.com This year also saw us launch the first of a series of events bring mainstream medicine, holistic health practitioners, and survivors of critical illness together to work towards the creation of a research-based resource that will serve as a jumping off point for finding information about natural health options post-critical care. Called "Now That I'm Healthy", this series will continue in late spring of 2010. Also new for 2010, the free listings are being replaced with a $5/month listing with a link, and the upgraded listings are getting a massive upgrade with slide show and video introduction option. More on this in the coming days as we'll actually be discontinuing the free listing option shortly. You are also going to see some other changes to the site in the coming days as we roll out the new interface - you may have already noticed changes to the front page with the collapsible navigation that keeps it clean and tidy while still making it easy to jump right to the desired content. That same goal is going to work its way throughout the site with the right panel having a more logical breakdown, including bringing the city and therapy sub-sites to all the pages. You'll also be seeing more and more video on the site as we catch up on the backlog from show season. Well, I am heading to sleep now. Tomorrow is a long day of overseeing the core move for me. If you are in the Toronto area, plan to stop by in the new year for a cup of tea and a walk-through of the space. Have a good night!
