ylangene
A Sesquiterpene found in juniper, winter savoury, clove, bitter orange, peppermint, and ylang-ylang. Used mainly in perfumery.

yogurt (yoghurt)
A custard-like fermented food made from curdled milk, (soy milk, nut milks such as almond milk, or coconut milk can also be used). The bacteria used to make yogurt are known as "yogurt cultures". Fermentation of lactose by these bacteria produces lactic acid, which acts on milk protein to give yogur   (more info - yogurt)
