Promotional Opportunity: Natural Health eBooks

Please Note: deadline to get your proposed outline in for Book One was Thursday February 11, 2010. We'll let you know when we are ready for submissions for Book Two.

Become a featured author.

NaturalHealthcare.ca in conjunction with Michelle Warren Publishing is issuing a series of e-books on natural health modalities for beginners. The books will be free for personal use, paid for commercial use, with proceeds going to charity.

This is an opportunity to present your expertise to a targeted and interested audience and to become part of a viral marketing phenomenon with a minimal amount of effort. Enhance your practice with status as a contributing author - your by-line will include your credentials, company name, and link.

We are looking for qualified contributors to create quality tips or introductory information pieces (no more than one page) and we will assemble, lay out, and market the final product. Content will be selected based on quality, and we reserve the right to reject overly-self promotional material.

With over 2.4 million unique visitors in 2009 - people hungry for information on natural health - NaturalHealthcare.ca has a built-in channel for promoting this e-book.

The first book will be a general introduction to healthy living, with future volumes focusing on:

Holistic, Helping, and Healing Business networking

Join us in our brand new offices for our first Holistic, Helping, and Healing Business networking event of 2010. Our theme of the evening?

Reconnecting and Staying Connected

The theme is a tribute to two factors: first, it has been a while since we have held an event, and second the prevalence and hype around social media tools & social networking.

1. We took a hiatus in 2009 to concentrate on a few other things (including developing the concept for the space and deepening our online presence), and now we're ready to help you connect with other healthy business owners once again.

2. Our presenter for the evening will be NaturalHealthcare.ca Managing Director Gisela McKay speaking about Real and Long-Term Business Strategies for Social Media Tools - Getting Past the Hype and Trends. Did you know that over 80% of all Twitter accounts have posted less than 10 tweets? Do you know what a Tweet is? Should you even care?

Gisela will speak for 15 minutes, then spend 1/2 hour answering your social media questions, before wrapping up with her tips & favourite tools. This is a rare opportunity to hear honest answers from someone who uses the tools daily as part of a larger business strategy rather than as their primary business as a "social media expert".

Our new office has space for 40 people and that's where we set the limit. Tickets for the evening is $10 and are available on a first-come, first served basis.

As always, we will have great food, great company, and you will definitely get to meet other practitioners/business owners for a variety of business opportunities during a structured networking session. Doors open at 6:30PM and the structured networking portion of the event officially starts at 7:15. Speaker will begin at 8PM for one hour, followed by open networking until 10PM.
